How do we have to grow garlics? / Nola erein baratxuriak..

This was the task our students have to solve during their Christmas holidays, the way to learn this was the interview to elder people.

Nola erein behar diren baratxuriak ikasi behar zuten gure ikasleek gabonetako oporretan. Horretarako, elkarrizketatu behar zituzten adineko bizilagunak.

Como se deben sembrar los ajos, un punto de investigación para el alumnado, el modo de hacer esta investigación fue durante las pasadas vacaciones de navidad, la entrevista a personas mayores fue el metodo elegido.

Here you have the reports our students have prepared:

GROUP 1

GROWING GARLICS

The garlics grown in February when the moon is decreasing and you collect them in summer. To grow garlics is better outside because the soil is better. .

Follow these steps:

-First you make a hole.

-Later you plant the glove with the root down.

-Later cover the clove with soil.

-And to finish you have to wait.

Baratxuriak

Baratxuriak otsailean landatzen dira ilargi hil beheran eta udan hartzen dira.Baratxuriak kanpoan landatzen dira lurra hobeagoa delako.

-Lehenengo lurrean zanga bat egin.

-Gero baratxuriaren ortza landatu punta goian izanda.

-Eta gero lurrarekin estali.

-Bukatzeko itxoin behar da.

GROUP 2

Garlics:

Garlics can be sown outside, because they resist the cold and the land is  better.

In Zaraitzu garlics are sown in January but in other regions they are sown in others months.

To grow garlics, first we take the garlics clove and we separate the garlics.

Thirth we sow the garlics when the moon is in decreasing.

To finish, garlics need horses poo, wáter and sun.

Baratxuriak :

Baratxuriak kanpoan landatu daitezke, hotza eusten dutelako eta kanpoko lurra ona delako.

Zaraitzun baratxuriak Urtarrileko ilbeheran landatzen dira baina beste herrialdetan beste hilabetetan landatzen dira.

Baratxuriak landatzeko, lehenengo baratxuriaren hortza hartzen dugu eta baratxuria zatitzen  dugu.

Bigarren ez dugu lurran zulorik egin behar, baratxuriaren beheko zatia behera landatu behar dugulako.

Hirugarren, baratxuriek zaldiaren zimaurra, ura eta eguzkia behar dute.

Oso esperientzia polita izan da, ukenduak egiten ikasteaz gain taldean lan egiten ikasi dugu ere.

Asko gustatu zaigu DBHko ikasleekin lan egitea.

Goian erabilitako errezeta duzue!

Colocando carteles en la huerta / Placing posters in the orchard

   BY MAITE

On the 14th of December in English class, Tasio brought some papers and stickers to do the cartels, and the posters were the orchard´s rotation.

First we did some holes to the paper and later we entered the bridle and we put a stick.

When we finish the work, we took the tablet and we went to the orchard with the posters.

When we arrived to the orchard, we start placing the posters in the parters with the rotation reference. And when we finished I took some pictures to the orchard and to the cartels.

When we finished the work in the orchard we went to the class and we started writing.

On Wednesday morning, at 12:00 we went to the orchard Santiago, Tasio and me.

First, we took some hoes and the plants, that were lettuces, onions and curls. There were 43 onions, 10 lettuces and 10 curls.

Later, when we arrived to the orchard, Tasio and me started digging one stall to plant the onions. Santiago and me we counted the plants that we need to put.

After that, Tasio planted the things, while Santiago hoed another stall.

Later while Santiago and Tasio planted the lettuces and the curls, I watered the onions.

After that when Tasio was taking photos, Santiago was watering the lettuces and the curls and I stayed writing down some things in the notebook.

Finally, when we went to the school we met with an old person from Garatx house and we stayed a little bit speaking with him and he said:

PARA APRENDER HAY QUE PERDER.

We are going to follow “Parades En Crestall” method.

Parades en crestall is a method of the orchard. Is a method that is about a rotation with the plants in the parters.

The rotation is this:
